I have written below code but the IR sensor detect object but motor never stops running. I want the Arduino code to work as follows using millis, 2D array. I have a 12v 10rpm DC geared motor, 2 inductive proximity sensors, push button and l298n drivers. So, I want to stop convyeyor belt for 500ms when IR sensor detects HIGH and let color sensor read color of object and then let object move ahead normally on belt. Arduino dc motor & inductive proximity sensor Using Arduino Sensors newbuzz May 8, 2023, 1:04pm 1 Hello, I'm new to this forum. I was planning to use a motor shield, but I realized that it only fits an Arduino Uno(not Mega) and it controls only 2 DC motors. I will use an arduino mega and a 4wd chassis like the one here: Chassis.

You can use simple shift registers to get those 32 outputs, using only three pins of the Arduino. In a few months, I am planning to construct an Arduino robot with multiple sensors etc. To drive 16 motors, youll need 32 digital outputs, an Uno only has 20. I can control DC motor using mosfet normally as turning it ON/OFF using digitalWrite using an arduino. If the inputs are both low or high, the motor will be off. I'm using single mosfet IRFZ44N to control DC motor. Hi, I'm working on a school project where I'm building a small convyeor belt using an Arduino, DC motor and IR sensor for moving object detection so my color sensor can read color value. The DC motor in your Arduino kit is the most basic of electric motors and is used in all types of hobby electronics.
